Adjustments To In-Office Procedures Due to Covid-19

Dear Valued Patient,

We hope this announcement finds you and your family in good health. We have all been
through unusual and unique experiences these last few months. We are looking forward to
resuming our normal habits and routines including welcoming you back for your dental care.
Our commitment to the health and safety of our patients is our primary concern.
Our infection control procedures have always been a top priority for our practice as you have
previously experienced in our office. Regarding the current pandemic, we have updated our
infection control procedures based on current guidelines from the CDC, ADA, and OSHA. We
follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up to date on any new rulings or guidance
that may be issued.

We want to tell you about the updated guidelines we are following to keep our patients and
staff safe.

You will see some changes in the way we schedule, confirm, and see you for your next

As always, you should call us to schedule your next appointment. We will be using email and
texting as well as phone calls to reach you as well.

After you have made your appointment, we will reach out to you in the following ways:
1. If the appointment is more than 3 weeks out, we will email and text you as a reminder.
2. At one week out we will call to confirm your appointment. If we do not reach you by
phone you must call to confirm your appointment and answer some health screening
questions. This step is a requirement and cannot be skipped. If we are unable to speak
directly to you at least one day before your appointment we may need to reschedule
your appointment.
3. If an emergency arises and for some reason you are unable to make your scheduled
appointment, we require that you contact our office directly and speak to one of our
staff to reschedule. It is very important that you speak to one of our staff to change the
4. When you arrive for your appointment, the staff will again ask you some health
screening questions. At times you may be asked to wait in your car or outside of the
office for a few minutes while we prepare for you.
These health and safety protocols are designed to allow greater time between patients, and to
reduce how many patients are in the office and the reception area at any one time. We very
much appreciate your cooperation with these mandatory guidelines.
We look forward to seeing you again and providing the quality of dental care and prevention
that you deserve.

Please call our office as soon as you can to make your next dental appointment or to ask us any
questions that you may have.
We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to seeing once more our patients, neighbors,
and friends.
